For Editors
I am particularly interested in reviewing manuscripts in the following areas:
Causal discovery and inference algorithms: Fundamental methodological developments in causal discovery and inference, including structural causal models, conditional independence testing, causal identification, latent confounding, graphical models, and causal effect estimation.
Statistical and computational methods for genomics and psychiatry: Development of new statistical and computational methods tailored to problems in genetics, genomics, and psychiatric research, particularly those involving causal relationships, disease mechanisms, treatment effects, and clinically relevant phenotypes.
Drug prioritization methods: Computational and statistical approaches for identifying potential therapeutic targets and prioritizing drugs, particularly methods integrating genetic, genomic, and causal information.
Innovative analyses of psychiatric randomized controlled trials: New approaches to analyzing psychiatric clinical trials, including treatment effect heterogeneity, outcome learning, treatment-response phenotypes, and alternative methods for detecting and interpreting treatment effects.
My primary reviewing interests are in fundamental methodological advances, methods developed for specific biomedical problems, and innovative analyses that provide new insights into psychiatric treatments.
Please do not invite me to review manuscripts solely because they involve computational methods or machine learning. My expertise is concentrated in the areas listed above, and I am not necessarily an appropriate reviewer for computational research outside these areas.
